TransformED Website and Brand for CTQ

Project Case Study: transformED Website and Brand

Client: Center for Teaching Quality (CTQ)

Where: Carrboro, NC

Challenge: A national non-profit dedicated to education reform wanted to share its members’ thought-leadership content, but its dozen teacher-bloggers were spread across the country on different third-party technology platforms.

Solution: Created aggregator site that seamlessly merges 12 targeted RSS feeds and on-site blogging. Also created logo for CTQ’s new “transformED” brand.

Result: Client has new site that will help it build its reputation as a thought leader in the field of education reform. The site automatically pulls in new content throughout the day, while requiring minimal day-to-day IT admin overhead from CTQ’s headquarters staff.

My Role: I managed the web development and transformED logo design project from start to finish, as liaison between client contact, graphic designers, and Drupal web developers.

When: 2011
