Challenge: Complete deadline-driven investment research reports annually on 400+ companies providing wide range of products, from healthcare and energy to retail and professional services.
Solution: Conducted definitive buy-sell research for firm’s $1.3 billion Domini Social Equity Fund (DSEFX) and related investment strategies, meeting quarterly deadlines.
Result: Over two years, researched 400+ companies while recommending investment selections and identifying key industry trends. Covered companies included: Apple, Chevron, Cisco, Del Monte, Estee Lauder, FedEx, GM, Google, McGraw-Hill, MetLife, Morgan Stanley, Nike, Norfolk Southern, Procter & Gamble, Starbucks, Time Warner, Verizon, Wachovia, WellPoint, and Wyeth.
My Role: Conducted investment research, specializing in North American equities. Maintained and upgraded firm’s in-house investment research database of 2,000+ companies, including training coworkers, running basic SQL queries, and implementing user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) improvements.
