I work on projects that interpret and amplify art. This includes sharing about under-appreciated artists, as well as making art more accessible.
Here are current projects:
- Research topics include art from 1900–1950; narrative art; portrayals of labor in art; and artist Reginald Marsh.
- Writing articles, here and for publications like Railroad Heritage and Railroad History.
- Books—to include Getting Into Art: How to Collect Art at Your Own Pace and Passing Through: Reginald Marsh, Railroads, and Modern City Life.
- Working Bibliography: Exhibitions of Railroad Art
- Oral History: Voices of Railroad Art
